 When is the last time that you did a self examination?

When is the last time that you had a mammogram ?

I Strongly suggest that if you are not doing it, that you start.
I am 48 years old and had never had a mammogram, so on my birthday this year, I had one.    This will help me remember when I need to get one every year.

My results came back showing something so I had to go back for another one on my left breast.  They also wanted to do a sonogram on it too.

So my first at 48 showing something , it will really make you think.
I did have the second mammogram and they called with my results saying that it was benign, but wouldn't give me the all clear until the sonogram results came back.
After waiting for what seemed like weeks, they finally called and said that it was benign.  That was quite a scare and eye opener for me.
From now on I will faithfully get my test every year on my birthday and do my self examinations.

Don't wait to get your mammograms.  There is really no excuse.
Yes It may hurt some, but the pain will be noting compared to actually having Breast Cancer.    Do you Love your Boobies ?   If you do, don't hesitate and wait to get them tested.
