Chronic Pain From FIBROMYALGIA and Other Illnesses

     There are so many different types of pain that it is hard to put them all in one post. I am going to start here with Chronic Pain and the lack of patients being able to live a normal life because they are not able to get the appropriate medicine to help them live a normal, or somewhat normal life.

     FIBROMYALGIA-

     The pain is Real !   With the pain most of us get  Lack of Support from friends and family.     Loss of Relationships due to lack of knowledge and understanding.

Here are a few of the things that we do get.
1. Sarcastic and Hurtful words from those we trust and or complete strangers
2. Migranes
3. Anxiety
4. Chronic Pain
5. Confusion
6. Pain
7. Loss of Identity
8. Feel Alone
9. Depression
10. Sleep Disorder
11. Panic
12. Despair
13. Anger
14. Loss of friends
15. Feeling of being a nobody
16. The feeling of being less of a person than you are.
17. Anger because you can not do what you used to be able to
18. Brain Fog we forget things very easily
19. Afraid of being touched because of the pain
20. Fear that you will never be able to lead a halfway normal life again

     Please, if you or a loved one has Fibromyalgia or any other form of illness,
try to research it and find out what to expect and how you can help them.
There are so many different forms of illnesses that have all of these same symptoms.

     Show someone that you love them.  Ask them how they are doing.  Ask them if you can do anything for them.  Show them a smile.  Give them a Hug.  Kindness goes a very long way, especually when someone is feeling down because they hurt all over .

     Please go to the link and join the group and sign the petition that will go to congress and the president so that maybe we can make them understand that we need our medicine. That we really are in horrible pain.     To me this is Abuse, it is abuse from the system denying us a quality life.   We deserve it as much as everyone else does.

I had planned on making this post all about abuse but changed my mind at the last moment.  The next post will be about Abuse.  Stay tuned in you don't want to miss it. You will be very shocked.

Life is like a box of chocolates

     As I sit here every day never knowing what is coming my way,  I tend to think back to the Forrest Gump movie.    I really know the meaning of Life is like a box of Chocolates.  You never know what you are getting until you bite into it or simply break it open to see what flavor it is.     That is what i do , i break them open because some of them i can not stand.
It is funny how life is really about the same way.   We live day to day and never know what is coming,  how we will be feeling, what major disaster is awaiting to strike at any given moment.   We can not plan anything because we don't know how we are going to feel until we get up that day and break open that piece of chocolate.

I would love to be able to live my life without having to wait to see exactly what is inside and whether i am going to like it or not.   What happened to the Normal days ?
Where did they go ?   Why did they go away ?  Will they ever come back?
Those are questions that i suppose will never be answered or will take time before I will know.

To all of my wonderful friends and family, Thank you for putting up with me and I hope and Pray that you never have to break that piece of chocolate open before you will know how or what your day is going to be.

Back and Neck Pain

There are so many people that are hurting. Some know why and what it is and some have no idea.   If you are having trouble with your back or neck, Please check out the link above.          It has a great deal of information.  Lots of pictures so that you can actually see what is going on in your body.   

Sometimes we have many of the elements of pain and not know where it is actually coming from.  We are not Dr.s and can not diagnosis ourselves, but we do know our bodies much better than the Dr.s .         

The sad thing is that those of us have severe or chronic pain get treated like we are criminals.  Like we are just there for the drugs.      That is so wrong and should not be able to happen like that.   Many times they just send us home and we still don't have any idea of what is going wrong.   Is it because they don't care, or is it because they have not beet trained in all of the new silent illnesses ?  

I went through many Dr.s before I finally got my diagnosis.  Before that though I can not count the times that I thought that I was having a heart attack.  I always leave upset and very angry because they could not or would not take the time to find what is wrong with me.    

Finally I found a Dr. that would listen.  He understood me and takes his time with me.  He is not in a big hurry to rush out of the room.      I never have a day without  pain, and rarely get out of the house because it is so painful.      I will save the rest of this story for another day.  I just wanted to give you a good link and share part of my story with you.  God Bless                                                       Cindy Blevins

I would like to take a few minutes to thank each and everyone of our Military people for doing so much for our country.

For all of the sacrifices that you and your families have made to protect us. Thank you to all of the Police forces, the

Highway Patrolmen, The EMT's, The Doctors and Nurses, The Hospitals, Every brave individual that takes part in

saving lives.

I would also like for each one of you to take a minute to stop what you are doing today and remember what happened

on 9/11 and have a moment of silence for those that lost their lives that day. May you all rest in peace !
